Liz joined the Burness team as a coordinator in December 2018. She supports a variety of projects in the realm of health, primarily working with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation, the Commonwealth Fund and Community Catalyst. She provides communications support though research, media outreach, drafting digital content and building marketing/communications plans.

Liz graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in public relations and a concentration in business administration. As an undergraduate, Liz was an account executive at The Agency, a student-run ad agency housed within the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications. She also volunteered at frank, a conference in Gainesville, FL that connects communicators, scholars, storytellers and activists working on the front line of social change. During her summers home in Washington, D.C., she interned for BrandLink DC Communications and Linda Roth PR. After graduating, she backpacked Europe by herself for two months and worked at Mercury Public Affairs as a junior associate. In her free time, Liz can be found sweating at SoulCycle, shopping at Anthro and cooking from her Chrissy Teigen cookbooks for friends and family.
